iWhite Korea Nosepack (Review)

First things first, I'm no pro at beauty products review nor a beauty expert. I just want to somehow help you guys decide on buying this nose pack by sharing my experience.

I am not paid by anybody, I bought iWhite Korea's nose pack with my own money and used it at my own risk! :) Okay, here we go!

Department Store Thriftfinds

I have a story: Bumili ako ng envelopes sa NBS (National Bookstore), tapos sabi ko I'll check nga saglit sa Dept. Store kung may magandang sneakers. Tapos wala, how about Maybelline BB Stick? Okay wala din. :( I sadly turned towards the  exit then I spotted this and that. So yeah, that's how impulsive I am. But you know, at one point I just can't let the chance pass kasi these stuffs are such  cheap finds. :)

Asian Secrets Experience

Remember those GCs I won from Beauty by Tellie's Giveaway? Read about it here. I decided to share it with my mom-in-law as my little gift for her. :) Though it was so tiring and stressful on our way to SM North (traffic, the scorching sun you know), we were still very eager because it was our first time! Heheh.

Mercury Drug 2014 Planner

I've been planning to buy a BDJ Power Planner but I did not purchase one, I don't know why. :( Then I saw this Suki DayBook on Mercury Drug which costs 30 suki points or 200.00 Php, used my suki points to get this.

2014 Wishlist

Originally 2014 Checklist :) I know this is just way too late for Christmas (and I know hubby is a little short at the moment so I'm giving him a whole year round to give this all to me! lol) so I just said to myself to make this a little more practical, those stuffs that I need, would need and worth it the penny.

Something New: Pond's Acne Clear White

Okay, lately I'm being a skin care crazy (uhm kinda) first because my acnes had a great come back after I gave birth. I don't know if that's normal or I just lack time taking care of my skin--or my face specially. Second, my friend Grace is introducing me to random products and stores(such and influence huh.) And third, I dunno but I always bump to beauty blogs! Haha.

Birthday Wishlist

I was once an impulsive buyer, but not until I became a mother. I want to provide the best for my daughter even if that means giving up my luxuries. (Yes, its hard xD) I don’t wanna waste money on things I don’t really need anymore. So, every time I want something, I think not just thrice but ten times (literally!) before I actually buy it. I’ve been eye-ing on these stuff lately and hopefully I get at least any of these on my birthday! Hehe.

Stripes Leggings. Stripes are everywhere and I’m a leggings girl because it’s more comfortable than jeans. It’s just that I can’t find time to go out and find it on malls.

Casio Digital Watch. This one is so adorbs but quite expensive. I’ve been trying to forget about this but it’s stucked on my mind and appears in my dreams every night! Lols.

EOS Lip Balm.  Saw this on Miley’s new track. 95% organic (please correct me if I’m wrong), plus a cute packaging. Cute packaging really attracts me. J

Sandals. I rarely wear sandals before but not until I became a mom. (A lot changed really, when I became a mom. Ahh, mum-life!) I want to wear the most comfortable clothes as possible when I go out with Aya.

Burt’s Bees Lip Balm.  They say that this one’s all organic. And it’s not hard to find unlike the EOS Lip Balm. Like I said earlier, I wanna be comfortable when going out with Aya—meaning no make-up if possible. I really wanna try this if it’s really moisturizing, my dry lips would love this! :D

Baby Walker.  Obviously not for me. My princess is now 7 months old and a few more weeks, she’s gonna learn how to walk and this would be a big help both me and her.

BPI-GLOBE BANKO: MY “MINI” SAVINGS PARTNER

Bpi-Globe BanKo or “Bossing Savings” as they call it in Eat Bulaga is a micro-savings account for the “common people”. I first found out about it on the said TV Show and caught my curiosity. So I googled it, and I eventually liked its features. Imagine having your savings account on your mobile! Plus a very low minimum deposit (or “cash in” in their term), minimum deposit for as low as 50 pesos and absolutely NO maintaining balance! Grabe diba? Lols.

Google said you can open your account at either PrimeAsia Pawnshop or Tambunting. Since there’s no Tambunting on our place, I inquired at PrimeAsia Pawnshop. My first attempt was sad because it wasn’t available as of that moment because of some error on their system I think. L I waited, waited, waited patiently until their operation is ready for transaction. :D Yehey!

I prepared my requirements and submitted them, waited for my simcard to be registered, gave my 100 peso bill for my initial deposit and shoot! I got my account. It’s that easy breezy guys! =))))))

Suits every Juan! Hehehehe. For a detailed information on opening a new account on BPI-Globe BanKo, please see this. (Google opening new account & link) Or you may visit their Facebook page for further questions. They’re very nice guys, they answer queries immediately. J

Happy Savings!

The Comeback!

Guess what? I can wear fitted shirts now. :P Many says my body’s better now, I’m not so skinny anymore. Well, Thanks to that.

Hype on lookbook

What I’m wearing: Beanie and watch from my Mom
Thrifted Sunnies
DIYed Muscle tee
DIYed Dip-dyed shorts
Studded Shoes from Gaisano Dept. Store

Do you agree? Cause I myself has noticed, comparing my old pictures to recent! But I can’t be so happy because gaining weight means I can’t wear my old clothes now. L And I don’t have the money to buy such clothes. So I invaded my mother’s closet in quest for some clothes that I can wear. Luckily, I found two and an old-fashiooned denim pants. lols I had no shorts so I eventually knew what to do on this. J

Firstly, let me apologize for not providing photos on this. Oh damn* So I cut it  2 inches above the knee part. (Into a V-shape like to make it more edgy). I then frayed it, I suggest you use tweezers to pull the seams :P
Lastly, the ombre part! I dipped the half part starting at the bottom, on a pale filled with water and bleach. I forgot my measurement, though. I just poured a hundred ml of bleach into a pale and added water just enough to reach the half part of the shorts. Let it stand for like 30 minutes checking the bleaching process sometime. Be sure to rinse it thoroughly to stop the bleaching. And voila! Dip-dyed shorts for less. :D

DIY CROPPED TEE

Howdy! You know I’m so into DIYs lately. And since Aya has came out I’ve been itching to gain energy and get my hands on my planned projects. But of course, my baby Aya needs me that’s why this post took a little time to be done. :P Enough of my blah blah and now to my cropped tee…

Tah dah! I so love the print on this tee that I have to buy it even it’s kinda loose. After wearing it for like twice, I dumped it feeling sorry that it won’t fit me. Until I saw a DIY cropped tee on pinterest and blink* (insert light bulb here) okay I’ll try this on my tee. J

the inspiration

follow me on instagram:  @daintyfreckles

With a little wish wash of my scissors, my cropped tee is done in like 10 minutes! :D
I feel so proud of this! Meheehehe. I love DIYs so much. Looking forward to more DIYs sweeties! J

Much love,
Jubi

DIY EGG WHITE MASK: The Cheapest Face Mask Ever!

I have read this article originally on Twitter by @TheAcneSite about this “Egg White Face Mask” that gets rid of blackheads. So to my curiosity, I tried it.. since I only need an egg white! And to tell you guys, the result was really amazing! My blackheads were gone and my face softened too! With just an egg white, it’s a must try! So I wouldn’t make any further kwento. Let’s do it! J

Here’s what you need:

An egg white (Slightly beaten)

A tissue

Brush (mine’s an old eye shadow brush)

Scissors

Cut your tissue paper first into small squares so you could stick it easily into your face.  Now dip your brush into the egg and gently apply a generous amount into your face and neck. Stick your first layer of tissue as you go around your face, avoiding your eyes and nose holes.
Then brush another egg white above your first layer and top with tissue to finish your mask. Let it dry. Mine took about 15mins. to completely dry. You’ll feel your face get tighter, it’s a bit hard to move your head or your neck. Hehe :P Carefully remove the mask. Your mask should look like this.

Wash your face and moisturize. And see for yourself! Softer, clearer skin! :D

Hope this post helped you somehow!

Much Love,
Jubi

Pregnant at 20!

I’ve been blogging for some time now. I’ve been on Tumblr as my starting blog when I was in my first years of my college life. I then discovered Blogger too, which many of bloggers have been using. But these two blogs weren’t consistent because of my lack of dedication I think. :’(
Until… I got pregnant and decided to rest from work to focus on my health as well as my baby’s growth. Having a lot of spare time makes me miss blogging. J Right now I’m starting this blog as my journal of being a woman, a wife, and a mom. :D I also plan to start posting some of my DIYs here as well as my fashion blog to food reviews and graphic design.  So yeah! Goodluck to me!

To complete this first blog post, let me share to you what it is to be pregnant. J At first well I really got nervous because I feel like my body can’t carry it. (You know, I’m skinny—as in.) As I feel my body change, I got worried for I do not know how to react to it at first. It’s kinda  WEIRD.. hehe. Sometimes I don’t know if it’s just natural or if something’s wrong, That’s why I always keep in touch with my OB.
Pregnant women should really really do prenatal check-ups to monitor their health. And always follow your OB too. J Well thanks to the internet too, because it gave me a lot of preferences about pregnancy and stuff. J From being skinny, I somehow gained weight and eventually got a little thicker! Lols. Because when you’re pregnant, the very first change you would notice is an increase on your appetite. (Well for some maybe morning sickness. But in my case I didn’t experience much vomiting.) You’ll always feel tired too, and nausea. Ugh* that’s why I left my work. I don’t feel I’m efficient anymore. Another is body aches. Especially during my second trimester, Gosh I experienced toothache—really really bad toothache. I suffered for like a month! Pregnant women can’t take just any meds, you should consult your OB first. And my mom says it’s just normal that you experience some body aches when you’re pregnant, it would just fade eventually…part of being a mom. Haha! Last on my list is mood swings. Should I need to elaborate on that? Hehe.  Thanks to my husband for being understanding whenever I’m having tantrums and other attitudes that’s not-so-good. J
It’s really much easier to adjust to such changes when you know there are people who’s supporting you. Aside from my tummy getting bigger and bigger, I had also broaden my thinking for I am not a teenager only thinking where to jam anymore. I am now a woman, a wife, and soon to be a mom. (Aw, such responsibility) Realizing I know this I’m a little worried but I have God with me and a responsible partner, plus a supportive family… I know I can do it! Aja!

That’s all for now sweeties! Hope you enjoyed reading my first post . More to come!

Much Love,
Jubi
