Mt. Balagbag Traverse to Maranat Falls
With its proximity to Manila, Mt. Balagbag is quite popular to hikers and bikers who wants to take break during weekends after a whole week of stress. The trail is very wide and with the elevation of 770+ MASL, its perfect for a chill climb.
How to Get There:
From Cubao take a bus going to Tungko
From Tungko, Jeep terminal going to Licao Licao is just a 5-minute walk
Then upon arrival at Licao Licao, there will be tricycles that will bring you to Bry. Hall
IMPORTANT:
If you plan to visit Maranat Falls, you need to secure a permit first at DENR Bulacan. It's totally FREE so don't fret out! :) Kindly email/contact them here for more details:

No Barangay Official, local resident or local guide is authorized by the DENR to give climbing permit for Maranat Falls or Mt. Maranat because they do not fall under their jurisdiction.
Guides are not required unless you opt to visit Maranat Falls. Guide fee for traverse to Maranat falls is Php500. Trekking to Balagbag summit alone takes 1-2 hours, while traversing to Maranat Falls would take you another 1-2 hours.

Here's a fact: Part of Metro Manila's water comes from here that's why the DENR and MWSS are regulating the number of visitors/hikers to maintain the cleanliness of the place. So guys, dapat practice the Leave No Trace Principle always! :)

0600 Take a bus going to Tungko
0800 Take a jeep going to Licao Licao
0830 Take a tricycle going to Brgy. Hall/Jump off Point, Register and start trek
1030 Arrival at Summit, Eat lunch
1100 Traverse to Maranat Falls
1230 Maranat Falls, Rest and Swimming
1300 Head back to Jump off
1530 Arrival at Jump off point, Tidy up
1600 Depart at Sitio Balagbag
